              The Blueprint
9 Movements Behind            Every Great Swing

Slicing, topping, lack of distance, chunked shots, early extension, driver issues, putting problems—whatever’s holding your game back, I can fix it. With over 40 years of experience, I don’t guess. I apply proven, cutting-edge solutions that deliver results.

The Blueprint: 9 Movements Behind Every Great Swing

  1. The Start -Grip, stance, posture, alignment, ball position, and mental clarity are the building blocks of a great swing. These must be solid from the beginning to set up success.

  2. On-Plane Swing Center Rotation- Swing movement originates from the inside. If you don’t rotate your swing center on plane, it disrupts the sequence and forces your arms to compensate—leading to inconsistency.

  3. Lower Hips/Pelvis Support-The lower hips and pelvis form the first level of support for maintaining on-plane rotation. Without this base, your swing cannot stay stable or efficient.

  4. Ground Force Utilization- You need to use the ground effectively to position your hips and support your swing center. Ground interaction is critical for power and balance.

  5. Trail Arm Position at the Top-Your trail arm’s elbow and wrist must be correctly positioned at the top of the backswing to transition down-plane and release with both speed and control.

  6. Controlling Separation Angle When Accelerating- Controlling separation angles is critical once you begin accelerating the club. If your base moves too fast or too slow in relation to your swing center, you'll come off plane and lose control.

  7. Lead Arm Connection Through Impact-Maintaining connection with the lead arm through the hitting zone is essential. Without it, the clubhead won’t rotate inward properly to square the face.

  8. Front Side Rotational Speed and Timing-You must rotate the front side of your body out of the way to allow the backside to fire through. This generates speed, controls face angle, and ensures the club is released at the right time for solid contact and spin control.

  9. Timing for Release Point- Physics doesn't lie. When the weighted object (the club head) catches up to the axis point (your lead wrist), it reaches peak velocity. This makes release timing one of the most critical factors in producing consistent, high ball speeds. Contact the center and now you have maximized ball performance. The release point is the final opportunity you have to influence the club head. It’s the last two movements you apply—and they better be timed right.

"Coach Jeff helped me understand my swing like no one else ever has. The videos are easy to follow, and the 1-on-1 feedback shows me exactly what to work on. I went from mid 80’s to high seventies in just a few months. It feels awesome realizing my goal of playing in high school!"

"I was nervous to try online golf instruction, but Jeff's been amazing. I watch the videos when I have issues and it usually get's solved. When I get real stuck I send in my swings for feedback. His analysis is so clear and specific—I’ve shaved 8 strokes off my handicap and my Spark companions can’t believe my improvement!"

"The one-on-one video coaching changed the game for me. I’ve taken in-person lessons before,
but nothing this detailed. Jeff breaks down what’s happening with real clarity, and the weekly adjustments have me playing more consistently under pressure."

"After 40 years of playing, I thought I knew my swing. Jeff showed me things in my high-speed video that no one had ever pointed out. His hybrid learning model lets me learn at my own pace, and I’m hitting it straighter and longer than I have in decades."

MY PHILOSOPHY

Your Body is Your Clubs Machine
For Speed & Control

Make it Easy to Learn

Individual Instruction Plus a Learning Library Works Best:

A combination of foundational knowledge and individual-specific movement instruction leads to the most effective learning. Using a learning library for the Blue Print 9 Fundamental Movements of Every Elite Swing foundational concepts and reserving one-on-one
high-speed sessions for personalized movement training accelerates skill development while
reducing costs for the client.

You Can't Fix What You Can't See

High Speed Video Analysis is a must:

The golf swing happens far too quickly for the naked
eye to identify exactly where things break down or what specific adjustments are needed. High-
speed video analysis allows for frame-by-frame breakdowns, revealing subtle flaws and patterns
that would otherwise go unnoticed. This technology enables clearer communication between
coach and player, leading to faster corrections, more effective practice, and quicker
improvement overall.

Your Machine is Unique

Every Player Is Unique:

I treat each player’s body as their own unique machine, focusing on their individual movement capabilities based on factors like age, strength, and mobility. Rather than forcing them into someone else swing model, I work with their natural mechanics to help them generate more distance and accuracy in a way that fits their body.  Maximize the capabilities of the players machine and look to enhance the machines movement capacity

Your Machine is Unique

No Opinions:

My instruction is grounded in universal principles—not opinions—drawing  from the physics of speed, the geometry of swing shape, and the kinesiology of human movement. Your body is the machine that creates speed and control, and my role is to help you

move more efficiently and powerfully. Just as important, your mind is the engine—your focus,
decisions, and understanding drive the entire system forward.

My Experience

Decades of teaching.

Tens of thousands of students.

One mission: help you get better.

I understand your frustrations: Because I’ve lived them myself- trying to find a pattern that works and seems there are difficulties at every swing. My own path began in 1973 with no coach, no video, and no roadmap—just repetition, trial and error, and an unshakable drive to improve.

I never wanted a job after college and began teaching. With over 40 years of full-time teaching experience—starting in 1981 this isn’t a side hustle, it’s my life’s work. I’ve coached thousands of players of all ages and skill levels, tailoring my instruction to their unique movement patterns and available practice time.
My elite experience and time management skills allow me to create focused, efficient practice plans that deliver real results—whether you have one hour or an entire day to train.

In my philosophy, every golfer is a machine—some young and developing, others older or slower, and many somewhere in between. Teaching skill means being able to adapt to all types of players with equal effectiveness, regardless of age or ability. This is where my experience becomes a major asset: I know how to help each individual unlock their best performance based on who they are right now.
